I would not say "hover" and "levitation" are synonyms. If I see a helicopter stationary in the air, I don't say "It's levitating". Gwimpey 23:36, 19 May 2004 (UTC)
Hmm.. good point. but you COULD and it wouldn't really be wrong. :-) i don't know. i guess they are not exactly synonyms. do you think "hover" warrants its own article though?
