Another fine photo by User:Aka. As you might have guessed this colourful picture illustrates Vase (an article which could be longer). This isn't the world's best vase, but there must be hundreds of other articles that could use photos of objects as good as this. -- Solipsist 21:24, 4 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Neutral. The image quality is impeccable, but the object itself just isn't that interesting. It's a cheap newish Chinese vase, made for export. It's definitely better than the other image on the Vase entry. But if you are familiar with classical Chinese pottery or are a connoisseur, this little vase is a wee bit offensive.Shouldn't a Featured Picture be more compelling than this? That said, there are a lot of other terrific images on Wikipedia from photographer André Karwath (a.k.a. Aka). Perhaps someone could nominate another ...? Sandover 23:41, 4 Apr 2005 (UTC)- Oppose.
