Orphaned fair use image (Image:Dark Castle Color.png)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Dark Castle Color.png. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Fair use rationale for Image:Adema_logo.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Adema_logo.png. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use. Suggestions on how to do so can be found here.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Videmus Omnia Talk 21:28, 4 August 2007 (UTC)

Hello Lalala666, I've been browsing around reading and learning about daytrading. I came across you in a article involving NASDAQ and was wondering if you could give me information on starting in successful daytrading. I honestly have no idea on how to go about becoming involved and im just looking for some help.
So if you are willing, Help me! :)

- I actually have no idea -- I'm not involved in finance at all. I have some friends who work for JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley and so on, so if you want to go professional you probably need some pretty good schooling. If you want to do it as a hobby, you can probably look around at eTrade and so on, but like I said I've never done it. Good luck! Lalala666 20:29, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
Disputed fair use rationale for Image:3rd Party - Alive.JPG
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:3rd Party - Alive.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 12:32, 26 October 2007 (UTC)

Image Updates
[edit]The 1901 to "today" DOW images are great, especially useful is the logarithmic image. But they are nine months old. Any chance you could update those for the article? N2e (talk) 03:50, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
- I'll try do it soon when I have time, but to be honest, one year is pretty indiscernible when the graph covers 100 years. --Lalala666 (talk) 04:31, 4 February 2008 (UTC)
Can you upload this image onto Commons, please? There should not be any problem because the licensing is PD-self. The image is and will be used in Postage stamps and postal history of the United States and similar articles in English and other wikipedias. In particular, we need it for a Russian article. Comparison Chart S&P, Nasdaq Comp, Dow
[edit]Great job with the charts!
I saw that you attempted to create a comparison chart between the different indices. It would be good to have an indicator chart, like the following six month chart: [1]. This would have to be a line graph, and probably over a period of say, 5 years or more. Do you think it's possible? It would be good for comparing, and should be put in all the sections. I was wondering how they compare when I looked at the criticisms section on the DJIA page, and it was really frustrating that there was no way to compare them until I had to find it elsewhere online. Without such a chart, understanding the how they compare is almost meaningless. NittyG (talk) 04:27, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
- Sure, I'd be happy to make a chart, but I'm not sure what you're asking for. The only time the three commonly-cited charts really differ is when the blue chips and broader market go in different directions, which pretty close to never happens, and when the tech-heavy Nasdaq shows a tech-specific cycle, like in 2001. Is there a specific time frame when you think the different indices spread for demonstrable reasons related to their underlying securities? If you can find me a good time frame and justify that it demonstrates a reason for the spread and not random jitter, I'll make a chart. Note that I'm hardly an expert in finance, so you'll need to be a little forgiving. And sorry for the delay in responding! Lalala666 (talk) 00:04, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

AfD nomination of Insomniac's Dream
[edit]An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Insomniac's Dream. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").
Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Insomniac's Dream. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).
You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.
Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:06, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
New Version of Minimum Wage
[edit]Hello. Thanks for the graph which puts historic US national minimum wage in 2009 dollars. Do you think you could put it in 2010 dollars now? Thanks for your help! Techyactor15 (talk) 21:05, 30 January 2010 (UTC)techyactor15
- The official CPI only goes up to December 2009 now [2], so there isn't any calculation possible for 2010 yet. Even if there were, though, the value of the dollar hasn't changed much since August 2009 (what the current graph shows), about -0.5%, so you wouldn't really notice the change. I update this every 6 months to a year, and even then the changes are slight.Lalala666 (talk) 23:30, 31 January 2010 (UTC)
Better source request for File:Insomniacalbum.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading File:Insomniacalbum.jpg. You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talk page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 23:04, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
Speedy deletion nomination of File:3rd Party - Can U Feel It.ogg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:3rd Party - Can U Feel It.ogg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file with a clearly invalid licensing tag; or it otherwise fails some part of the non-free content criteria. If you can find a valid tag that expresses why the file can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the current tag with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{non-free fair use in|article name that the file is used in}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the file. If the file has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}}
to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Fixer23 (talk) 05:45, 19 November 2010 (UTC)
