User talk:TUF-KAT/List of albums
Hi. I've just seen your List of album stubs. It's nice to have a list of what's desired in an album listing page, I'll get going on the albums I've done. Also, the Nirvana (band) album you listed is Incesticide, and I've done a stub for Meantime (album) (though not as Meantime), and for the two Smashing Pumpkins albums you have listed. - Hey, thanks. Great work! There isn't really any rule about what to put in articles -- whatever you think makes the article informative and neutrally places the album in a historical, musical and social context. Quotes from respectable reviewers, notes on trends in popularity and perception (i.e. why "sell-out" albums are perceived that way), a general description of how the album fits into the band's/genre's/society's development and whatever other trivia you can think of. For some examples of reasonably well-developed articles, there is a list at Wikipedia:WikiProject Albums (please add anything you've done to the list there) along with various suggestions, hints and tips. See also music standards for some more general rules. Tuf-Kat

Umm, is this really encyclopedia-worthy? Should Wikipedia really list every album ever made? Aren't there other sources that do that already, like CDDB?
