Another spin-off

[edit]

Wasn't there an anime spin-off series based on Happy Tree Friends in Japan? Were the writers aware of this? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.96.206.227 (talk) 03:44, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know. Was/wasn't there? Are you asking if the writers of the spin-off series were aware that they were working on a spin-off series, or are you asking if the writers of this article were aware that a spin-off series existed? Can you provide any reliable sources to document any of the things you are either hinting at or asserting? Cyphoidbomb (talk) 06:28, 28 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Did Happy Tree Friends premiere in Mike & Spike's Sick & Twisted film festival for first times in late 2001/early 2002? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 155.137.27.93 (talk) 14:05, 17 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Anonymous editor

[edit]

An anonymous, probably well-meaning editor with a dynamic IP address from somewhere in the city of London has on at least four occasions edited this page, adding countries where the cartoon can be seen (including Spain, the Philippines, and various others). Please stop. Infobox television includes a program's country of origin – that is, where it is produced. It does not, however, include every place where the program appears. Furthermore, the infobox should not include flags or internal links to articles about the country of origin. Please do not add such information again. Cnilep (talk) 00:48, 14 July 2014 (UTC) Happy Tree Friends first official episode may have launched in a film festival (for the first time) a week after its Internet debut (the turn of the millennium 1999/2000), then shown in several ones later on, and got its first award in 2003. It did not officially exist in 1999, only on the Internet. Some people, from other websites, claim the series (the first episode "Spin Fun Knowing Ya") was officially released in 2000, they actually mean that the first episode came into the film festival for the first time at the turn of the millennium. It became unexpected success just before 2000, shown in a film festival for the first in the start of 2000. However, development of that episode, "House Warming" and the pilot episode, plus drawing the first characters from Lumpy to Flippy already began in 1997 or 1998. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 155.137.27.93 (talk) 11:02, 30 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think the Common Sense Media age rating reference in the introduction is necessary

[edit]

I don't see articles use Common Sense Media for age rating, or refer to age rating in general. I originally edited it out on my own, but someone else didn't agree with my reason. Let's talk it out here. PrincessPandaWiki (talk) 22:06, 8 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

To expand, Wikipedia generally does not list age ratings within an article unless it is noted by the media. Common Sense Media rated Happy Tree Friends with the old rating system, giving it a "Not for kids" rating. After the rating system was overhauled, any work with "not for kids rating" was given the automatic rating of 18+. ❤︎PrincessPandaWiki (talk | contribs) 23:29, 28 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Giving up having blood and gore in Happy Tree Friends

[edit]

I'm so sick and tired of blood and gore in Happy Tree Friends. It scars me, and I can't handle it. When will Mondo Media learn to make Happy Tree Friends give up having blood and gore? It's bad for my mental health. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:1C1:8904:EA50:454:E99:CFC:1F73 (talk) 19:37, 12 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Character list

Sockpuppetry

[edit]

As many people watching this article are already aware, there is a lot of sockpuppet vandalism going on. I just reverted an edit by a long term abuser who tried to claim that this is a Filipino series. This edit went unnoticed by the recent changes patrollers. Now that the page has been semi-protected, I think a closer look at all of the recent contributions is necessary. I'll do what I can. Scorpions13256 (talk) 14:15, 14 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Spin Fun Knowing Ya, could be released first in Spike & Mike Festival of Animation earliest the turn of the millennium, during the transition from 1999 to 2000 at midnight. Because some people claim that is from the year 2000, which could simply mean the millennial theatrical celebration of that episode. I don't know.

Not done: it's not clear what changes you want to be made. Please mention the specific changes in a "change X to Y" format and provide a reliable source if appropriate. M.Bitton (talk) 00:54, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Did Happy Tree Friends have its first premiere in Mike & Spike's sick and twisted film festival for first time in late 2001? 155.137.27.93 (talk) 13:56, 17 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
So Happy Tree Friends originated as only web series in about couple of years (late 1999-2001, then began release theatrically in late 2001 and early 2002). Right? 155.137.27.93 (talk) 10:11, 6 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Errors

[edit]

So We Can't Edit This Page because it's Semi-Protected, but This Has Some Unfixed Errors

1; Happy Tree Friends does NOT Parody Peanuts nor Tiny toon adventures

2; Lumpy's Deaths Do NOT involve animals (it's only sometimes)up

Guys, this is serious.

[edit]

It seemed like to me, that Happy Tree Friends is coming back soon. I mean, I'm not 100% sure if I'm correct, but we'll see. Stephenfisher2001 (talk) 13:40, 4 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Too Much Scream Time: Season 6 or irregular episode

[edit]

I've noticed that Too Much Scream Time episode, released on 27th Sep 2023, has been put into a single Season 6 episode. Mondo definitely doesn't keep track of any official seasons, so I am wondering why put a lone episode into a Season 6 instead of it being an irregular episode like False Alarm. All four members die in the video by decapitation after the building they are in gets ripped off its foundation by Lumpy using a truck and a tow cable.

All the band members are portrayed as orange bears that are distinguished by their outfit.

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. This seems to be giving undue weight to the importance of Fall Out Boy, which appear to be pretty minor characters. If you have reliable sources that describe the portrayals and importance, we can certainly revisit. Bestagon17:41, 24 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
