Hoxha (pronounced [ˈhɔdʒa]) is an Albanian surname, derived from the Persian title khawaja ("master") via Turkish hoca. It is the most common surname in Albania. Hoxha is the most common surname in Albania and the 9th most common surname in Kosovo.[1] "Hoxha" could refer to several people:
