Can this be expanded, or is it a hoax? Topeka is only a city as far as I know, and unlikely to have its own constitution. And regarding the Topeka convention referred to in the article, what, is this supposed to be like the Geneva convention? I don't know of any other Topekas, and couldn't find anything on a Google search. — Knowledge Seeker দ (talk) 20:49, 5 Dec 2004 (UTC) Update: Based on the efforts of the users below, I withdraw my nomination. — Knowledge Seeker দ (talk) 23:22, 5 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Keep. Appears to be a Bleeding Kansas event and notable as a submitted territorial constitution. I expanded this into a stub based on a quick Google search. --Goobergunch|? 20:55, 5 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Comment. I should note that the article was a 5-word substub when this VfD was submitted. --Goobergunch|? 21:32, 5 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Keep and please withdraw this nomination Kappa 21:24, 5 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- since it's been verified and no longer a substub Kappa 22:25, 5 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Keep and agree with Kappa. -- Scott 21:44, Dec 5, 2004 (UTC)
- Thanks guys, and especially Goobergunch for expanding the article. Although perhaps it should be moved to "Topeka Convention"? Anyway, now that it has been expanded beyond the "The Topeka Convention forbade slavery" stage and looks like a proper stub, yes, I am willing to withdraw my nomination. I am uncertain how to do that, but I will remove the VfD tag from the article and remove the entry from the VfD page. — Knowledge Seeker দ (talk) 23:22, 5 Dec 2004 (UTC)
