Listing of famous pompadour wearers?
[edit]Could more knowledgeable than I please start a list of famous figures who do or have worn this hairstyle? The only people I know of (and only by chance) are Conan O'Brien and Kim Jong Il. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ssokolow (talk • contribs) 02:46, March 15, 2006
I agree, Conan O'Brien should probably be mentioned. He is a good example in the modern world of a figure with a pompadour.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.18.111.67 (talk • contribs) 21:34, May 1, 2006
Yakuza: Clarification
[edit]The part about the Yakuza needs a better explanation. Searching google for "define:afflection" or dictionary.com for "afflection" yields no results. I can't think of what word this is supposed to be.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.192.101.159 (talk • contribs) 22:42, April 5, 2006
- I'm guessing that "affiliation" would work instead of "afflection" (re: Yakuza). Anyone who knows better can change it back :) Jaeger5432 02:14, 8 May 2006 (UTC)

- Looks like a good example to me. It illustrates one of the styling methods in the Creation section pretty well and it's GNU tagged. Done! - Jaguara 22:08, 24 January 2007 (UTC)
In Northern England
[edit]in the North a pompadour is rather confusingly known as a Quiff - —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.93.21.68 (talk • contribs) 14:53, July 25, 2006
