Listing Halsey Newcomb doesn't compute

Halsey entered the Naval Academy in 1900 and graduated from it in 1904. He was at UVA the year prior to entering the Academy (ie, 1899). Since this article lists the Seven Society as being founded in 1905, how could Halsey have been a member? Same basic deal with Newcomb. 70.161.8.90 (talk) 22:42, 5 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Don't know for sure, the text before this list says that this group is unusual in that it includes members who did not attend the college. Rublamb (talk) 01:39, 18 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
