Wikifying
[edit]The edit from (15:54, 2005 May 12) seems to be: removing section headers, and adding back the wikify tag. Isn't the point of wikifying to section up a writeup to make it more readable and create a better flow? Why would edits be made which are opposite in purpose? - Mark McCartney (talk) 04:00, 2005 May 13 (UTC)
- No, "wikify" means ading Wikipedia style, in line with the document to which the template links. Breaking it up into small sections isn't Wikipedia style (in fact it is warned against, as making an article jerky and bitty). Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 09:31, 13 May 2005 (UTC)
Any pointers for this page would be welcome. John Eden 16:33, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
Merge with Neil Fraser?
[edit]Wouldn't it be better to move this page to "Neil Fraser." There is already an article there, so it would require disambiguation, but wouldn't that be more in line with Wikipedia's nomenclature? --Gandalf 03:33, 12 February 2006 (UTC)
"Generally, article naming should give priority to what the majority of English speakers would most easily recognize, with a reasonable minimum of ambiguity, while at the same time making linking to those articles easy and second nature." Huge amounts of people know him as Mad Professor, but I would think only hardcore fans or obsessives would know he was called Neil Fraser. John Eden 16:03, 1 March 2006 (UTC)
photos and reversions
[edit]I'm sorry but I can't see the value of the photograph Image:madpo.jpg It is blurry and whoever has added seems unbothered about things like formatting and the appropriate size of images on wikipedia pages. I am going to revert it. John Eden 09:43, 14 March 2006 (UTC)
- Hope folks like the image I just added. My wife and I met him during a soundcheck for his show at Reggie's in Chicago, IL on September 18, 2011. Very nice guy. K8 fan (talk) 17:11, 19 September 2011 (UTC)

Discography?
[edit]why is there no discography section to this article? - Adolphus79 22:38, 24 March 2007 (UTC)
Good question. I've made a start, adding his solo-releases. Rien Post 11:40, 31 October 2007 (UTC)
I edited a few albums of the "Original Recordings" section. Some album dates were wrong, i.e. the re-release dates were provided, not the original 80's release dates. Additionally, I added the "Dub You Crazy With Love" section. anonymous 26 December 2008
