I removed an "External Link" to a website that sells apparel. I was unable to find anything that would indicate this link was appropriate here.

This is what I've always known as "gesture" sketch

[edit]

The definition on this page is what I've always heard termed as a "gesture" drawing, in figure drawing and in fashion sketching classes. I'm a fashion student right now, and when my teachers talk about croquis, it's always a fully developed figure, generally unclothed. These figures are then traced and clothing is added to them, the naked figure stored for future reference so that designers don't have to draw out the same pose over and over. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Meichigo (talkcontribs) 08:25, 5 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

This is gesture drawing as the other person said. Croquis are simply fashion drawings...the emphasis is on the clothing not the model. 71.202.168.170 (talk) 18:11, 16 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
